Believe In The Magic of Childhood

A quote we love by Colin Thompson sites “I have always believed in the magic of childhood, and think that if you get your life right, the magic should never end.” This is exactly how we felt designing the “Kingdom of Childhood” nursery. We were inspired by this vintage art piece found in an antique shop in North Carolina. All of the childhood stories, poetry, and heroes in one artful depiction.

“This is my interpretation of a nursery that speaks to the kingdom that is childhood. It’s a very magical place where anything is possible, even two rocking chairs in one nursery, one person to hold the toddler and one to hold the baby.” says Kaiser.

“What cute things have come out in the past few years, but there sure is a lot of tacky stuff out there too!” says Kaiser. “This Aurora wallpaper is FABULOUS. The company is in Germany and I am in love with everything they are doing.” Below, the Kingdom of Childhood textures come alive in a beautiful flatlay.

Down By The Riding Stables

For our fellow equine-loving families we have created the “Equine” Nursery design concept. This concept is filled with rich and playful details like buttons on the gorgeous pleated drapery, rope texture on the chandelier and table lamp. As always this room is stylish and functional. The table and chairs can easily transition to a classic children’s room – a perfect space for toddler crafts. There is no better way to instill your love for horses than the Equine nursery.

Adorable Schemes By The Beach

We couldn’t leave out a beach themed nursery. But rather than a Florida palm contrived look, we created a very soft, well-balanced palette of the perfect pinks and blues. Fun flamingo prints are paired with feminine details like the pom-pom canopy and pink flamingo rocker. This concept is fit for a sea princess.
